April and New Experiences

Singing songs

On Sunday we came home from church and Owen was obviously not done singing so he continued to sing to Brian and I. Now every time he sings at home he expects me to get out the camera and record it. Can we say camera hog??!

So Sweet!!!!!

This is a video that my sweet Aunt Terry made while she was at my house visiting us before we moved. All the family wanted to see Colton and I was so happy to see them too. She had this neat little camera looking thing but it made movies the whole time. So she put this video together and it is the sweetest little thing of my dad and his pride and joys!! I love you Aunt Terry...thanks a bunch!!! Lucky from Terry Fair on Vimeo.

Colton is here!!!!

Our little man is finally here. He was born Wednesday, March 4 at 8:31 p.m. If he would've waited 11 more minutes he and Owen would've been born the same time. Funny huh?! We are all adjusting well to the new addition. All he does is sleep, eat and mess his diaper. He is just so sweet and such a different baby than Owen was. Maybe it is true what they say about 2nd children. I will attach a video of Owen meeting Colton for the first time. It is absolutely adorable!

Counting Down

Well the time is approaching and my little baby boy is coming. I'm being induced on Tuesday night so I will probably end up having him on Wednesday sometime. Preferrably in the morning. I'm so excited I just can't say it enough. The month of March will probably be one of the busiest I will have. We will be moving from Tampa to Charleston, SC. Packing up a house with a new born and a 2 year old should be interesting. ha ha
Well February was also a fun month for us. We went to the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest in St. Pete with the Hollis family. Hung out with grandma and grandpa some. Also went to a bounce house. No I did not do any bouncing...ha ha Owen had so much fun at the bounce house. I haven't seen him laugh so hard or have a permanent smile on his face. I had so much fun just watching him!!

January

Well this month has just flown by. I only have 4 more weeks left which doesn't seem very long. All Brian and I do is talk about baby names. We can't decide on one for the life of us. If Owen could decide the name would be "Ball". No matter what time of day or where we are, if I ask him what his brother's name should be he still says "Ball". I don't know where he got that from. The baby will probably be born, ready to leave the hospital and we STILL will not have a name. Man this is hard stuff. We had one of the coldest nights here. I think it was below 30 degrees out which to Floridians is unbearable. ha Owen of course had to put his hat and gloves on and he loved it. He looked adorable. He is growing up so fast and I just love him soooo much. He is so sweet and caring. Anytime you have a cut, bruise or scrape on you he is the first one to ask if you are ok and he wants to "wipe it" which consists of getting toilet paper and lightly tapping your boo boo which by the way the whole time is face is all scrunched up. So sweet!!!

December

So this has been quite a month for us. I started potty training Owen a week before his 2nd birthday so it has been 3 weeks now. At first I was ready to throw in the towel but now I am soooo happy that I stuck with it. He is officially doing his business on the potty. He does have some mistakes every now and then but he is getting better and better at it every day. In the middle of the month we celebrated Owen's 2nd birthday. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. He is talking and conversing with us and sings and really has developed quite a little personality. It's hard to believe that in 2 more months we will have another little boy around here. For some reason Owen thinks his brother is my belly button. I try to tell him that his brother is in mommys belly but he tells me "no mommy here's broder" and points to my belly button. ha ha We also went to the Christmas light show with the Schmidt's and had some smores. Yummy. Owen just loves Brady and Brice. I also attached a train table that my parents got Owen for Christmas. He spends most of his day there playing. He just loves it.

O-H-I-O

We were driving Friday afternoon around the Ohio State stadium when I noticed that one of the gates were open to the football field. Emily got out of the car to take some pictures and ended up making some friends with the ESPN crew and they let us on the field all by ourselves. It was so amazing and Brian loved having Owen there, he was like a little kid himself. So here you go all you Buckeye fans. Enjoy!!!
